A day of non-verbal reconciliation
A day at the Vancouver aquarium....Interesting to think about the people designing the displays of underwater dwellers, how much is practicality and how much is just to please the eye..Then all the ideas of cleanliness, sickness and the abject. Gots to have a Boa Boa/Video Stills
These stills are from the final project of my after effects class, The song was written by the ever talented Sonia Zagwyn. Soon to be finished just working out the bugs, all the imagery is hand drawn and animation is solely done in after effects. My eyes are those of the snake and Sonia provided those of the Burlesque dancer.....Video coming soon!

Rebel Valentine Video
The idea aesthetically was to make the video look retro, as though she was getting ready to go onstage, a teaser by a teaser....
I love it, the sound is taken from one of Rebel Valentines' live shows, which I think enhances the atmosphere...hopefully giving the viewer the desire to be there live.
....and comm'on we filmed it in my bedroom with a bedside lamp..not bad..ps. love video textures!
